Peridot

Peridot’s vivid lime green is unlike anything else in the gem world – it doesn’t shift, it doesn’t pretend to be emerald, it’s just its own distinct color. One of the few gems that comes in only one hue, and it owns it completely. Surprisingly brilliant when well-cut, and at its best in natural daylight where that electric green really fires. An underrated stone that tends to surprise people who see a fine example in person.
